WIRED Magazine:
"After the satellite data from the onboard GPS system had been analyzed – the devices tracked two runs in opposite directions and calculated the average – driver Oliver Webb’s last dash came in at a staggering 331.15 mph. The final verified average was 316.11 miles per hour, handily beating both the Koenigsegg and the Bugatti records and cracking the metric milestone of 500 kilometers per hour just for good measure. In addition, the morning’s effort garnered records for the fastest flying mile on a public road (313.12 mph) and the highest speed achieved on a public road (331.15 mph).”

Logo design and animation for the Carl Sagan Institute, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.
The renowned astronomer and educator, Carl Sagan, spent his career exploring the vastness of space and reaches of human imagination. Cornell University was the home base from which he broadcast inspiration to the world. On May 9, 2015, the institute created to extend his legacy was named to honor him: Carl Sagan Institute: The Pale Blue Dot and Beyond.
The Carl Sagan Institute logo animation opens with the famous “Pale Blue Dot” image from the “Family Portrait” series of photos of the solar system taken by Voyager 1 in 1990. The request to turn the camera toward Earth was made to NASA by Carl Sagan. At the moment of the photograph, Voyager 1 was nearly four billion miles away from Earth. Carl wrote later of “our pale blue dot, a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam.”
Our explorations are expanding – equipped with inspiring ideas and advanced technologies – we continue our search for new exoplanets and fingerprints of life in the cosmos.

Website design and development for legendary drummer, Michael Shrieve.
Over the course of his prolific career, Michael Shrieve has written, produced and played on albums that have sold millions of copies worldwide. In 2016, Rolling Stone listed him among the “100 Greatest Drummers,” and in 2011 the same magazine’s readers chose him as one of the “Top 10 Drummers of All Time.”
As the original drummer for Santana, Michael was the youngest performer at Woodstock at age 19. He helped create the first eight albums of this seminal group, and was on the forefront of shaping a new musical era. In 2016, Michael reunited with the original band to perform and record a new album, Santana IV, on which two of his original songs are featured.
"I owe Michael a lot; he's the one who turned me onto John Coltrane and Miles Davis. I just wanted to play blues until Michael came. He opened my eyes and my ears and my heart to a lot of things. Some drummers only have chops, but Michael Shrieve has vision.”

For the fourth issue of Slice Magazine, Los Angeles photographer Trevor Pearson asked us to mix up the editorial design a bit and add some edge. With pleasure. This issue showcases Pearson's talent for capturing our love affair of all things that go fast. The portfolio of shots range from a rare Ford GT in Gulf livery, the all new 2014 Stingray, Deus Ex Machina's moto madness, and a bunch of candid behind the scenes shots that show they know how to have fun both in front of the camera as well as behind.
